Prior to the Center for Digestive Endoscopy, Dr. Henry Levine taught gastroenterology at Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Levine received his medical training at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. His undergraduate degree was received at Union College where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He also received the Nott Scholars Award for research at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. In Virginia he was a National Institutes of Health research fellow. Dr. Levine is on the teaching staff at Orlando Regional Healthcare and Florida Hospital. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Florida for gastroenterology. Dr. Levine founded the local chapter of Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of America, a support group for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. His practice focuses on the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and therapeutic endoscopy.
